What is a Pulse Oximeter?

A Pulse Oximeter is a device that is used to monitor how much oxygen is being carried in the body in a non-invasive and easy way. The tool simply attaches to the tip of the finger and sends two wavelengths of light through the fingertip, measuring the pulse rate and oxygen levels.

Once this process is finished, the device will display the amount of oxygen in the blood via a percentage figure, as well as the pulse rate.
