The price of the item purchased, alongside the cost of delivery charges and VAT, will be displayed on the order receipt. The company will do everything possible to ensure that purchased products are delivered in the time that is stated on the website, however, we do not accept liability if the product is delivered late.
When you purchase a product from Care Monitors UK, you have entered into a legally binding agreement fixed on the conditions listed below. Please familiarise yourself with said conditions so that you can best understand both your and the company’s rights and liabilities.
According to the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000, you have the right to withdraw from a transaction, which is explained further in a document sent alongside your product.
We reserve the right to modify our conditions at any point. Please ensure that you regularly check the conditions for this reason.
Basis of Sale
You will receive the product that you have ordered via our website. You will receive the product only if we choose to accept your order. We reserve the right to reject your order.
Each sale is made subject to these terms and conditions.
No order is completed until you receive a confirmation email from Care Monitors UK
Advice relating to the products sold on Care Monitors UK is carried out by the consumer at their own risk; we do not accept liability for the result of following said advice.
Information on this website can be changed at our discretion without any consequential liability on our part; this includes errors on the website.
If your order is accepted, all information regarding the product you have purchased will be detailed in your order confirmation. Your payment information will also be set out here.
The responsibility for ensuring that the information on the order is accurate is on the customer, as is letting Care Monitors UK know any necessary information relating to the product.
Care Monitors UK reserves the right to make changes to the products available on the website including specifications.
B2B & Trade Orders
Care Monitors UK do not offer a refund on items purchase for trade accounts. Business customer who have ordered bulk/quantity will receive a credit note.
If you are a business & do require a refund, you must inform the Care Monitors UK team within 14 days from when the order was placed.
Note, Care Monitors UK will apply a 15% surcharge from original total invoice amount will be applied, & a credit note will be issued which is valid for a maximum of a 6 month period from invoice date.
Price of products
The price of our products will be listed on the product pages. Care Monitors UK reserves the right to change the price of the products on the website. The price of the product at the time that the order is placed will remain the price that the customer will pay.
The customer must pay the price of the product as well as any additional packing and shipping costs, all of which will be set out both before purchase and in the order confirmation.
The total price shown for the product purchased will include VAT
Terms of Payment
When you have provided us with your payment information and submitted your order, you have:
- Confirmed that the information provided within the order is accurate and that the payment card is yours to use
- Given us permission to take from the account stated the price of the product that has been purchased as well as other amounts detailed in the order confirmation
Money taken at the point of purchase does not act as an order confirmation. If your order is not accepted by Care Monitors UK, the full amount will be credited to the same card that was used for payment.
If Care Monitors UK is not able to take the full amount for the order, we maintain the right to cancel the order and suspend further orders.
If you return a product to us, we will credit the full amount of the product to the same card that was used for payment.
Care Monitors UK will take reasonable care to protect all personal information that relates to your order but we are not liable for loss suffered as a result of the information being stolen and used by a third party.
If we suspect an order to be purchased with the intention of resale, we reserve the right to reject it.
Delivery will be carried out by one of our couriers to the address that the customer provides to Care Monitors UK upon ordering the product. The responsibility is on the customer to provide the correct address as well as adequate information regarding where the product should be left if no one is there to accept the delivery.
Care Monitors UK are not liable for damage or loss of the product after it has been delivered per the customer’s instructions.
Care Monitors UK will take appropriate measures to have the product delivered at the time that is stated on the order. However, customers should note that delivery times stated are an estimate only, and Care Monitors UK are not liable for delay in the delivery of the products.
If your delivery is missing, you have 5 working days to report it to us. Please ensure the 5 day period has passed before contacting us as this is beyond our control.
If you have ordered multiple products, they may arrive at different times. If this is the case, each delivery can be counted as a separate contract. Therefore, the failed delivery of one item does not affect the contract upheld by the delivery of the other products that were delivered successfully.
Care Monitors UK is liable for failure to deliver any product that has been ordered and accepted, other than circumstances where failure was beyond reasonable control or at the fault of the customer.
If you fail to take the delivery or provide suitable instructions for delivery, we reserve the right to cancel the order and credit the full amount onto the card used for payment. This amount does not include the cost of the delivery as laid out upon purchase.
Risk and Property
From the time that the product is delivered, the risk of loss or damage is liable to the customer. This also applies if the customer fails to take the delivery at the specified time.
Warranties and Liability
Your statutory rights are not affected by these conditions
Any claim that is made by the customer that the product is faulty or defective will be notified to us within 14 days of the delivery date or, where the defect is not immediately apparent, within a reasonable time after its discovery.
If a claim is placed regarding a fault with the product then Care Monitors UK will replace the product for free or provide a refund (at our discretion).
We will not be liable to the customer by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other terms, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, for any loss or revenue or profits, anticipated, goodwill or injury to reputation; loss of business opportunity, losses suffered by third parties, except in respect of personal injury or death caused by our negligence.
Our entire liability under or in connection with the contract shall not exceed the price of the product, except as expressly provided in these conditions.
Care Monitors UK are not liable to you or deemed to be in breach of contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of our obligations in relation to the goods, if the delay or failure was because of something beyond our reasonable control.
Right of withdrawal
The customer has a 14 day period after the date of receiving the products whereby thy can withdraw from the contract and return the products to Care Monitors UK. This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
In this case, the customer is responsible for paying the direct costs in returning the product.
If we supply substituted products to the customer their rights to withdraw is as stated above except that the cost of return will be covered by Care Monitors UK.
